The Nebraska MarketMaker project has been made possible by initial funding and project leadership provided by the University of Nebraska Rural Initiative with assistance from the University of Nebraska Food Processing Center.

The Rural Initiative is a University-wide approach to focus the knowledge, skills, and creativity on the four campuses (Kearney, Lincoln, Omaha and the Medical Center) upon stabilizing and enhancing the economy and quality of life in nonmetropolitan Nebraska.

Goals

• Connect Nebraskans to knowledge relevant to building the future.
• Develop or support research that benefits regional, community, and economic development in nonmetropolitan Nebraska.
• Spur innovation, investment and wise use of resources to benefit Nebraska.
